2019 Cowbellpedia First Stage Examination Holds Nationwide
Officials of the National Examination Council, NECO, and the respective states Ministries of Education supervised and coordinated the examination in various centres pan Nigeria. Participation this year experienced a massive turnout with 56, 000 students participating, representing a 27.2 percent increase over the 44,000 participants recorded in 2018.
Results will be released on World Milk Day; June 1 2019, and the TV Quiz Show will commence in the month of July 2019. As a way of complementing outstanding performance at the state level, students who took first, second and third positions in the qualifying phase will be rewarded with 30, 000 Naira, 25,000 Naira and 15,000 Naira respectively in each state.
N2 million and an all-expense paid educational excursion outside the country is up for grabs by winners of the Junior and Senior categories in the TV Quiz Show, while the first and second runners-up will go home with N1.5million and N1 million respectively.
